I want to first thank you, Thunderchero, for such an amazing mod that encompasses so much of what I would want over the original game. I have been playing BOTF since it was released, but only tried out mods in the past 5 years or so; since 2012, this has been almost exclusively UDM. The version I am playing is 3.0.1dc, and I just noticed that there is the possibility of trying it in 1024 (widescreen, perhaps). My question: is this this larger screen possibility still supported in the newest release (3.0.1dda) or merely in the previous incarnation?

My current game's saves are under dc, so I am likely to try out the different graphics first before attempting to patch -- but would love to know for the future.

no widescreen version available for UDM. only wide screen was test vanilla version.

The 1024 UDM patch works on all version.

adding any patch mid game is not suggested, but in most cases it is not a problem.

version dda is not a patch it is a full install. you would need to uninstall older version first.

I was wondering if it was widescreen...alas. But still, progress!

Not a patch--newer version--gotcha, I will try that after my current game wraps up, then. Thanks for all the advice!

hey thunder, great work with the mod but i have a question, on Advanced level Fed how come some of the starting ships have damage to the hit points? also is there a way through ultimate editor to change this?

you would need to hex edit the trek.exe

at 0x5e431

to

0F 85 CC 00 00 00

this change is only for keep empire borders locked after signing a non aggression treaty. The extended territory is a different code change. :wink:

Hey guys,
first: Thanks for this very cool Mod.

I've played Cardassians and I fight against the Dominion. The Dominion Fighter ist as big as a Galor-Class cruiser. Is it a bug?

more of an error than a bug, the scale looks like it got reversed for Lambda (bug ship) and Zeta (Heavy Attack Cruiser)

not at this time.

it would require new hob files (models need to be reconverted). I do not even have replacement files ready yet.
