here is a problem. after messing with mpr and other files I unistalled all botf and mods from win 8 computer. I deleted botf directory. I rebooted. I reinstalled botf 1.0.2, runs fine. I installed udm from previous download that worked well - normal size works, large does not. I unstall the whole bit again. repeated except re-downloaded udm. same result - can't get udm large to work... worked before! any ideas?

the original was installation that had MPR applied that had some registry setting wrong and I had to apply fix to get it mpr working again....

try to enable win98/95 compability mode.

this is odd. win 98 compatibility allowed it to start but I could not see the game. xp compatibility got the game going... why would udm normal uni work ok but large one needs compatibility? thanks for the help though

it is windows 8, botf should not even run since windows 8 does not support 16bit color games.

im never going to upgrade to windows 8 if botf wont work windows 7 is fine for me
