Well, for those of you that are following along and waiting for a new mod, you're going to have to wait a little longer. My wife is going to take a new job and we're going to be moving 1000 miles away. I will be losing access to the computer I have been using to make the mod so I'll be saving everything to the cloud or a thumb drive someplace until I can buy another computer. This will probably mean I won't get back in the swing of things until I'm settled in a new job and house. Don't worry, I won't forget it. I've put too much into it already. If anyone does think of something they'd like to see added, feel free to comment. I'll try to check in every couple weeks.

Hows it going Brian, hope things are sorted, since you put me on to the UE some time back I have been tweaking this mod,
adding ships, adjusting costs, ranges etc its a great tool to use, but I'm no modder by any standard. One thing I would like to see and I'm not sure if it's possible is to have ship maintenance linked to dilithium production, ie the more you have the bigger the fleet you can maintain.Hope the mod is progressing OK.

Well here's my update. My wife is leaving April 20th to get our new place set up while I will be staying behind to tie up all the loose ends at our old place and to keep working for a while anyway. Not sure where that will be but I gave my current job notice that I'd be leaving by November 1st whether I had a new job or not because we can live off her income if we have to. A job for me will come eventually and I do have some interviews pending. Anyway, still hoping I can get back at it soon.

Hi Brianmcfa
Are you still working on this? I hope you are as I'm loving the original aam.
Just wanted to offer my help if you want race info text writing for the new minor races.
I have no programming knowledge so I can't help with that but anything you think I can do to help.

It's on hold for the moment. I have too many other things going on right now to get this move over with. Once I'm settled, I'll start back up. A lot of the races text I'm paraphrasing from the memory alpha site so I don't need a lot there. I have most of the ships and races nailed down already but I'm always looking for some better ship designs, especially Ferengi designs. Where I'm paused at is making "new" structures. Some of them were going to be the same as the original mod, such as the local government, but some I'm replacing and I'm also thinking about some all new ones, such as a Starfleet Academy remote site that does some minor ship training and can be built at any system.

I can't move before May 20th because my youngest daughter graduates on the 18th and I'd need a day travel so the earliest I'll be starting back up is in the first part of June. That's assuming I have a job at the new place by then. I was holding off moving because I haven't found a new job yet an I can hold on to the old one until Nov. 1st. Oh well, time will tell.

Just wanted to let anyone waiting on the mod know that I haven't forgotten about you. The job search has been going slowly but there are good prospects and I have interviews in two weeks. One way or another, I'm still moving Nov. 1st, job or no job.

Well I'm moved and mostly unpacked way up in northwest Washington State. Unfortunately this is sans computer. My wife got her new tablet first because she needs it more than I need even an old throw away system. So I'm the mean time I'm going really old school with pen and paper for building and ship stats since my job isn't starting until the first of the year and I've got nothing better to do.
