Downloaded and installed it.
So far its been working excellent.

In the "lexicon" part of where u can look at ships -> Cardassian destroyer 1+2 -> it shows as a green "ball"
However ingame in battle etc it shows up correctly.

Sounds : the new that is added pretty sweet.
New Dominion Lcars replacing Ferengi -> Sweet.

Not specific to this mod, but alot of time when i fight AI, and they Flee and have any destroyer's in they're fleet it crashes.
If i have killed of the destroyers before -> no crash.
What this have meant to me on some occasions = Ram to ensure they die.
(take losses but not as much as letting the ai guide my fleet in auto -> where it would loose almost all my fleet, where as my tactics leave me with little loss)

But so far I just loved it even more than i loved Udm III =)

This did the trick so far.
0 Crashes.

Not sure this is the right forum or spot ->
But one thing that "bugs" me is that Dominion (or the race that takes the spot for Ferengi) will recive the Racial -> aka not war = trade routes.
In alot of the mods out there the pure ships alone makes them hard enough, but the traderoutes make it bit "overpowered"

Anyway to remedy this? somewhere in UE?

Hi all,

Ive tryed to add this mod following your instructions to the letter.

Once ive done it all exactily as you have advised i keep getting trek.exe has stopped working.

Could you please advise if you have heard of this or know what i can do to fix.

Your help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me absolutely beserk!!!!

Is it just me or does the CD need to be in for this to work?

I thought it was meant to be NoCD'd?

It keeps requesting the CD (annoyingly I have it mounted too!)



P.S. I thought I might mention the Romulans. They really have got the short end of the stick with the ingame ship designs. There are many better designs from Armada that could replace the Strike Cruiser, Cruiser and Battle Cruiser. Also an alternative Destroyer design would suit instead of re-using the Scout design. Has anyone done this or would anyone be receptive to it being done?

I noticed that the Cardassian Starbase II is a star ship and not DeepSpace9. What can i do to correct this?

The terminating "00" behind the name "Tholians" is also missing.
It just doesn't catch the eye as much, since they're supposed to hate everyone, anyway ^^

Hi guys, sorry for my extended absence - many RL things to take care of, not to mention continued problems with my damn PC. After a complete rebuild I've now had to ditch my high end graphics card which only lasted six months! Still haven't got round to parting with large sums of cash to replace it, so I'm still using this shakey old laptop.

As a result I don't even have botf installed at the mo, so cannot conduct any testing. But my thanks goes out to all those, particularly thunder, for offering support for my mod whilst I've been away.

Thanks also for all your patience in ironing out the bugs. it is a beta after all. Just as soon as I get back on track (with PC up an running again and new graphics card) I'll re-issue the beta with all the necessary fixes, and hopefully an installer, with the kind assistance of those that can create one.

Thanks Dafedz (get to say thanks to the maker now ;) )

Just wanted to say a great mod. Only thing I have changed is the ship complement with a complilation from the two ship packs available for the UE. I am in the process of setting a new comp up to do some 3D modelling and get some of those lovely Rom ships from other games into the game. Like the Ent version of the Rom BoP. Loved it compared to that tired old Miranda kitbash they called a BoP in TOS.

Mainly focusing on Roms as they are indeed my favourite of the 6 choices (Dom's included). They seem to have no weaknesses compared to the other races. Plus that initial barrage is just so powerful.
