Minor Race Ships ?

Hi

Thanks for the great mod.

I installed the version that comes with the all in 1 installer 2x


So far - at around turn 78, all is going well and is quite stable.

One question I have though is about Minor race ships.

I could have swore that there was some mention of "eras" and when the race gets to a certain level you can build their ships.

I am playing as the Federation and have some races like the Breen now as Members but they seem only capable of building Federation style ships.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

It looks as if this ability depends on the minor races' tech levels (not displayed in game) vs the minor ships tech requirements.

To be on the safe side you have to wait with the membership until they have ships or wait for silent advancement.
At some point you see the minor ships in the build list (turn 78 might be too early for advanced ships).

Ah ... very interesting - thanks for that.

I was trying to crank out tons of Universities etc to bring the tech levels up but it seems not too depend on that.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see over time .... hopefully I did not bring my Breen into the fold too soon and ruin their chance to build their own styles ....
