You might also want to contact QuasarDonkey he has been also working on a clone project not with unity but he might have some useful info. he also created the ida database, he has stated ida database is due for an update.

Found an annoucement, they will be remaking a 20 year old title on unreal engine 4 with the co-founder, Wild Bill Stealey.
