If youv seen the film have you seen Scottys reaction to the ship when enters that giant cube thing? u can tell he looks unimpressed with it

I think it's a monstrosity as well, but makes a little sense when you consider who in the movie basically designed it.

It was an excellent movie overall if you like sci-fi.....
In my book, it's not the Star Trek universe I grew up with and have a hard time associating anything with the Shatner/Nimoy Universe.
Question is? now that JJ took over the franchise for a while and leaves it soon to work on Star Wars, will we, every 3 movies or so, have a reboot as they've done with Batman, Spiderman so many times or will it stay like that permanently?

I'm still not gettin used to those ugly Federation ships....well actually...all of them are butt ugly.....and please, redesign the engine rooms...they suck...feel we're in an observatory instead of the heart of a ship.

Actually, I was happy to see our lil NX-01 on the table display at Starfleet HQ.....feeling nostalgic as how things used to be.
