(Yet another) Return

Post by FoxURA »

Well, I'm surprised. It's been probably 2 years since I last dropped by the forum and a lot more has been done mod wise than when I last vanished for a while. Seeing Into Darkness was enough to inspire me to play BOTF and the hunt for a version of the Ultimate Dominion mod that doesn't crash led me back here. There seems to be a few new names as well.

Was my first impression accurate that things seem more alive now?

Also as a side question, I assume there's been no fix to the auto build stupidity? Playing on a large Ultimate Dominion mod reminded me as to how the autobuild is more trouble than it's worth and forces you to micromanage to clean up after it.

I don't know why something like that wasn't fixed in the original vanilla. Why build more farms when the system is already fully fed?...

no fix to that yet but by now at least we have ways to address things like this some time in the future ;)

I may try to stick around and be more active but things are hectic.

Between part time work and a game studio I'm working on getting off the ground, I'm wondering how time can go so quickly.

We have one game on the android marketplace and are patching it before we get it to iOS. The game is called Flashback! by Dolphin Entertainment, LLC

It's a memory card type game that features something called the Flashback! button. Hit the button and it lets you glimpse at the cards again.

lol. A lot of questions there.

Yes, we're using Unity.
I can't discuss my plans for the future of the company but there is big stuff going on.

What you found on that page is an older PC build. The game on the market is more polished than that.

You seem awfully curious too.
