While it's not up for a vote, I'll tell you why I think custom titles for the hardest working contributors makes sense. I've been in those positions myself a couple times before, and it's much more work than the title is worth - but they put in the effort anyways. I appreciate it, and I think the custom title is the least the forum can do to distinguish people who put in the extra effort for the site upkeep and game modifications.
So more than just asking for a custom title, I'd say don't ask to cheapen one of the few rewards admins are offered. But that's just my take from being in their position before. With any luck you'll hit their funny bone and they'll call you "Away Team".
