Site Changes coming soon

My thanks to the community's appreciation. It is going to be an interesting experience and I hope the community will enjoy the changes. It is amazing how fractured AFC/STM has become. Old boards running, messed up cookies, non working PMs (on AFC which I fixed), etc.

So my sleeves have been rolled up to straighten all this out. :-) It will also make TC's job of managing a lot easier. I honestly don't know how he managed all these years. One look by me and I was like ah... this has to change. It is amazing what he had to deal with behind the scenes.

it is possible now, but will not be allowed.

The reasons for this is, attachments in PM's is a single member to single member sending of a file/image, and there is no point in the site to carry that file on server.

We do plan on allowing attachments in posts when we update site, but this maybe disallowed if it starts getting abused.

btw file attachments in posts will be very limited in size and all images will be automatically resized (500 max width) even if linked from off site (even current images). attachments will thumb even smaller (200 max width) but will open in new view window on forum.

The new site layout and upgraded forums are online and operational. The upgrades did take a bit longer than expected, but everything is working well.

Super excited that things are moving forward!Every now and then i search for BOTF to see if anyone has actually continued on a project. I went to register and it says i already did. So i must have come across this site a long time ago! Not sure what all i can offer, but i would love to lend a hand. This is a great game and am very excited for a final revamped version!!!

All help is very welcome, but it's already great to see some new ppl around.

Anyway afc always has been the greatest BotF community so when there is something new on BotF, you'll find it here.
