Star Trek I: Specter

Anyone watched this series; there are 3 movies, longer than 3 hours each; i read about them and they were praised, especially the 2nd and the 3rd, not just for the story but also character development.
I guess i am asking for reviews if you watched them; i need a push to commit 3h to a movie.

Well yesterday was a rainy day so, i watched them all, almost, still have the last 2h left; and can't wait to get home today.
Incredibly well done.
After a few minuted you kind off forget there are only 2-3 people doing the voices. Can't wait for the finale!

It's full of easter eggs ... sounds, music, images, scenes, lines ... and it has the moral dilemma you older trekkies want, and also the blow them up stuff ignorant younger people like me expect.
