Everyone hates me - what am I doing wrong?

Any dilithium system was a must-have for me as well. It could've been a 120 pop system containing of 3 barren planets and I'd get it early on. Now, with the legendary starts and the overall good systems (no anomalies as well), the game became boring to me. With those epic systems everywhere, the player's swimming in dilithium, so we can be really picky what to colonize.

In Civ, I often play with sparse ressources. It's more difficult which makes it much more fun to me. Ressources actually matter again. And wars are fought about the few good places on a map. In BotF at this stage, every system is epic and the micro takes ages. I used to like to complete my systems. With the average pop much more lower, it was something achievable. Now, micro becomes boring pretty quick. It is unbalanced.

That could be a nice theme for a new mod, though.
