I don't know why this topic is already locked. However, what I'd like to see are two things which would speed up the installation progress quite a bit.
- ultra compression isn't needed and slows down by a lot
most of the files are compressed anyway (the res file comes to mind) and it's just a waste of time to compress it to ultra as compressed files can't be compressed any further - sure you might save a couple of MB but we're not in 1995 anymore where this should matter
- language installation: there's no need that the installation goes through both: english and german - this is also a major slowdown
install lots of multi mods after each other and these two points mentioned above accumulate by a lot. I'd like to see it changed if possible.

lol did you read the topic? and why it was closed?
first line of first and last post
btw installer install much faster in this version
both Engilsh and german needs to be present since mods come in both.

Re: BotF installer
well, open testing meant for me that the discussion was over. hence my thread. good to know the installer got faster. Is it still ultra compressed? If yes, reducing the compression a bit will make it a bit faster, too. ^^
