Star Trek Discovery (SPOILERS)

I don't consider Discovery as canon.

It's not really even up for consideration. Yes, it can be claimed to be canon because it is an official release like the other series and movies, but since it directly violates nearly every single thing in established canon, that doesn't compute. The best case that can be made for this show, despite the claims to the contrary, is that it takes place in some other universe whether that is the Jar Trek universe or some other. Now we even have a fake "mirror universe" in this show. Mirror universe humans never had light sensitivity issue, nor were Earth continents in that universe backwards to our own. Apparently this is more of a "Mirror Image universe" that we've never seen before.
