Having seen what happened to the Axanar fan film, and now finding out that star trek renegades has been forced to drop all star trek references in their future episodes, makes me wonder if this site will be similarly affected. Specifically, I'm wondering whether future mods will have to have the star trek references removed . The company is certainly being an ass about all this, and I was considering doing a mod.....but not if these ridiculous restrictions are going to come into play. Some clarification, please, guys

It is doubtful they would waste their time. If you look most ST game have mods. The only thing I have ever heard of an issue is when they planned on charging for files.

but also questions like this bring attention, if they are doing searches so I changed your topic title.

This is a worrying development. Can organisations and companies now claim your work under new copyright laws?

2. no actions was ever taken by Amarillo Design Bureau Inc. toward that site and images in question are still on that site.

and if you want to know the truth, yes it could happen. but as I stated before if there is no charge or profit involved they will more than likely leave us alone.
