I assume it was the US version, I bought it here.
No TREK.icd I can find... I looked on the disc and in the install.
and trek.exe is 1.68 meg after install.

You should just be able to zip the trek.exe and attach it to your reply in this topic.

that is all I need so file will be small.

thanks,

thanks for file Dewbacca,

That was interesting, the file was 1.0.0 version, but when I compared it to my converted icd it only had 5 bytes that were different.

So I would have to assume Microprose never used icd file in the U.S. release versions.

Also the trek.exe was converted to icd (SafeDisc) for export until version 1.0.2

Sorry I wasn't checking earlier. I have my original BotF disc in my desk. I slid my bottom drawer open and there it sits in a case. Yeah it is that important! I still have the box and all the materials too!

Good you got the file.

TC and this community have done so much for me in keeping this game running.

I'm glad I've been able to give back even if only to satisfy curiosity.

Just wondering in the readme.doc what is listed as print/created date? it would be printed something like (this is UK date);

Star Trek: The Next Generation®
Birth of the Federation™
Version 1.00 (UK)
ReadMe File
13 May 1999

If I remember correctly it was May 9th 1999 on US version.
