Neither of the posted links was working for me. I found this one, not sure if it's the same that was originally posted here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uz01BA4LKSo

Looks really good, I'm surprisedly optimistic at this point. I think Netflix may end up kicking themselves for turning this down... not that I can blame them after CBS gave them an STD.

Jeri Ryan, Sir Patrick, Jonathan Del Arco and Brent Spiner read a couple of tweets (fan reactions) about the trailer.

Might be region locked for some. One of the first replies is from a user who recorded the video.

I'm doing a TNG re-watch at the moment. How I miss those old dialogues. Some episodes are quite artful when it comes to conversations and speeches. Esp. the ones given by Picard and Data. Lets hope that there'll be some of it in Picard. Picard's speeches always reflected the utopian ways of the Federation and what Starfleet was about. Data's exploration of humanity was another epic cornerstone.

They tried to revive that a bit with 7of9 in VOY. So, seeing Jeri Ryan got my hopes up.

I hope they get the format they deserve. If CBS fucks this up with having the biggest magnets of Star Trek in it then they should just sell the license.

Yeah I've heard that people in Canada couldn't play the CBS one or the European Amazon one I posted so presumably others will struggle.. bloody region locking. Although I'm in Australia and I was able to play the European one just fine so that's weird.

Just found this trailer analysis by Trek Central. Looks like they going with post apocalypse (the controversial supernova event) Romulan's experimenting with Borg technology presumably to try and regain some lost power. Gotta love the lab sign saying 5,843 days without assimilation lol! Looks like they have control of a cube too. Considering Romulan's and Borg were my favourite villains from TNG this pleases me greatly.

I'm excited, it's great to see the old cast coming back, but no Worf? Wouldn't it be awesome to see a General Worf?

Patrick stewart is really looking tired now at his age, his voice hasn't got the same power that it once had, but he is nearly 80 from memory.

I REALLY hope they use the fact that Bruce had Lal as a basis for creating positronic brains for the twins... and didn't tell anyone.

Same, it's like, I know what I dont like about it, I know some points, but at the same time, we're trekkies, some of those we can finagle our way around anyway.

Like the Discovery Shuttles - who has to say that Starfleet shuttles from the 23rd century can't be repurposed for civilians, and once they got in use as say, a school bus, it became THE school bus? (Just like a certain vehicle did in America - we here in the UK don't have them, but schools here have in the last few years or so started using coach-style busses painted yellow, even though it was perfectly fine back when regular busses were simply used for schools only in the morning, then went on whateve regular route they had later.)
