changing empire colours and name colours

Post by geon »

Hi all,

Can someone please explain how to change an empire's territory shading on the map, and the corresponding colour of the lettering for the planet names. I did do this ages ago with hex editing but am unsure now how this is done with the ultimate editor

Regards

Thanks Thunderchero,

Can you also tell me what files govern the outpost and starbase symbols seen in the corners of the territory squares?

There is 4 tga's per race each set uses race letter

c = cardassians
h = federation
f = ferengi
k = klingon
r = romulan

here is example for cardassians
i_co11.tga (outpost)
i_co11on.tga (outpost selected)
i_cs11.tga (starbase)
i_cs11on.tga (starbase selected)
