Captains of Star Trek

I just read from newspaper about U.S. government, how a black woman was choosen to the supreme court, and how presidents have always been, in order: white men, then one black man, women haven't (yet) been in the office.

That reminded me of star trek, how it's captains have usually been white men, then there was a black man, then a white woman, now in discovery a black woman.

Then comes sexuality, heteros are overrepresented, while in discovery there's a gay couple, and surprise surprise, same pattern again, white man (though with a black man), so, I don't know if there are lesbians (In Galactica there was Admiral Helena Cain, a white woman and in DS9 Jadzia Dax had some bisexual thing in her), but if we follow this pattern, then the so called pinnacle of evolution would be a black lesbian woman and a romulan too as a captain in some series in some distant future perhaps.
