Tried 1.0.3 and bop and it seems to be working fine. I get occasional lock-ups in bop (in combat and regular gui), but this could be the mods fault or just plain botf.

bop -> Balance of power mod

On research screen & in battle for ALL BoP ships.

By the last edition of multi-installers that only affected the retextured ships:
-R'derex
-Defiant
-Sovereign

Crashlog said in both of cases:

File: texture.cpp, Line: 378, i == GOOD_READ

But will check new uploads tomorrow. And since DCER said it’s OK, I don’t think I’ll find that again. :)

Yep, I remember that is latest torpedeo mod from joker's page (I used it for long time) and Fed/Kling torps are different here, but not in 103.
then I am not sure what mod you are talking about.
This torpedeo mod is strange programed i.e. the Fed torp gif is named ksboom.gif. :?

No need to say me.

Also no need to say that. We all love what you do, and I'm pretty sure anyone else would have much more mistakes.

Well of course it can refer to the Klingons' Bird of Prey. Usually, however, BOP refers to Balance of Power, a mod that Gowron made. You can read up on the mod and download it here:

I can confirm this one (with having downloaded installers a few minutes ago), have just tried it and made a complete reinstall of 1.0.2, 1.0.3 and BoP (all german) and ship-research-screen as well as battles are crashing in BoP immediately. :/

I don't suppose the memory leak is fixed in this patch, is it?

well have not heard any complaints about it, but no fix was put into it for that bug.

The 100 turn slowdown, noone's complained about?

If I were to speculate, I would venture a guess that most folks here don't mention the slowdown much anymore for 1 (or both) of 2 reasons:

1.) They're just used to it by now.

2.) Their computer is fast enough that the slowdown is now fairly minimal.

For me, it's a combination of the two: While I do still experience the memory leak to some extent, my current PC has minimized the slowdown to such a degree that it's not really worth complaining about anymore.

Would I mind seeing a patch that fixed the memory leak? Of course not. However, it's not a priority for me.

memory leak will be present depending how long you play. i keep having to restart game to hegate it but the further you are in the game the quicker the leak becomes noticable again.

Hi Everyone,

since there is a overlap with torpedo mod and my explosions to reduce palettes. I have started work on new torpedo images.
