Hey Iscaran, glad you're still around.
Feb2nd, are you sure? That's ancient  It's the december release still, correct?
This is the IndexedCollection crash. We really need to get that fixed...

When you can provide feedback on the new release, please do. Research speed, events, the works.
IIRC the release version (20200214) has the old refresh rate, but the new patches have the new one - a comparison would be nice, to see if there's actually any useful improvement.
Thanks!

Yes I will report on the new version - but I also wanted to at least play more into the old game as it worked so well, so far, and beyond Feb2nd the savegames are no longer compatible. Thus running a new game would be required ;).

Uploaded a new patch.
A bunch of fixes and enhancements (events, soundfx, sitreps, UI).
Exposed the minimum turn for an event to occur in the ScriptedEvents.xaml file (NoOccurrencePeriod).

The log you attached, it's the IndexedCollection crash.
Feb 2nd - Patch
Huge, Slow, Random events=Yes
Can you test @Normal research rate please? It should be a lot slower in the new version.
Events
The parameters of these have been changed in the new version. You got almost one of each in that game.
153 - Archaeological Dig in Cassiopeia (+200 Cr)
155 - Alien Fossils in Boraal (+200 Biotech)
163 - Archaeological Dig in Nehru (+200 Cr)
217 - Alien Fossils in Primus Hyadum (+200 Biotech)
221 - Abandoned Complex in Angetenar (+200 Construction)
The frequency of these (the colonization events) seems a bit high though. Might lower it a bit for the next patch/release.

Recently I played Mar01 as Klingons and I am about turn 195. It was quite smooth, but I got from time to time a crash after random clicking but without any error log. The game just disappeares from my screen. It happens quite regularly, even more often now and started about 30 turns ago.
I will try the new patch now.

What are the restrictions for Troop Transport construction now? It looks that only 2 per system are allowed.

And today error log. It happened twice, just after clicking turn end. Previous game with Mar06.

The number of Garrison troops you have  As soon as you have enough Garrison for another TT, you will be able to build it. I think the troops are only removed when the TT is fully built though, so you can "exploit" this - until I fix it that is.
The other restriction to TTs is that you can only build your own TT designs in Native colonies; some minors do have TT designs of their own, which are usually better than the empires' (except the Klingons'), and you can only build those in their homesystem (provided it is a member minor, not a subjugated one).
And today error log. It happened twice, just after clicking turn end. Previous game with Mar06.
Yep, you guessed it, it's the IndexedCollection crash...

It might not fix every crash, but it'll help. Please give us feedback on this.

Today I played a couple of turns. No crash so far. Before the last patch I had crashes every second turn.

I noticed a bug with Garrisons after you posted about it. After building Transports to subjugate a minor, the Garrison in Qo'noS wouldn't increase... in my other colonies it did.
For some (other) reason, Garrison also stopped increasing in minor race homesystems, at some point. They had like 30 or 40, the 2 I had contact with.

And there's another bug when an Open Borders treaty expires, established trade routes are not cancelled.
