I have applied 10JulFixed and after 8 turns met the same problem again. Still the same game from last save.
Edit: so far it happened only once and I was able to play a couple of turns.

Can you try the new patch I just uploaded please?
Preferably start a new game.

BTW, I added the old manual, for new players.

I just found out what the problem is! Damned green stars... if you set the map to not spawn them, you're safe.
Stay tuned for a new release shortly, with a bunch of improvements!
And erazortt is working on some Transwarp-level turn processing speed improvements.

I have found something weird before yesterday patch, but it persists after applying 12Jul.
After visiting shipyards screen (F5) the game slows significantly, every operation, effect of clicking or chosing any option from menu lasts remarkably long and all stars are blinking on the main map.
It disappears after a restart. So far I noticed that only after openning that one screen.

Just to be clear, you mean by entering the Assets screen (F5) and switching to the Shipyards tab?

Notice that unless you disable it in the Settings, stars in the starmap always blink - except when fully zoomed out.

Yes, it started after leaving the Shipyards tab. The blinking was far more intense than normal.

Today I started a new game with last patch applied - as recommended - and that 'processing turn' hanged twice in 63 turns.

Do you remember if you have given any specific orders which might lead to this?

Ok guys I think I found the bug making the hangings! Apparently Iceman is gone for some days, so I don't know exactly how to distribute the exe for you to check. I could PM you the exe though.. So write me a message if thats ok for you and I send you the exe to try it out.

Do you have a savegame where this issue can be replicated?
If so, can you attach it here please?

New patch. Should fix the hang issue. Please test and report.

The old manual (outdated) is included, BTW.

I was able to reproduce that today in my old game
SP Romulans Huge Elliptical 150.zip
(505.34 KiB) Downloaded 86 times
but not in my last game (Romulans, spiral galaxy).
It required wandering here and there, of course visiting Shipyards screen and switching to the System screen or Galaxy screen directly from that one.

Edit: I was able to reproduce it in last game with yesterday patch - just after switching from the Shipyards screen to the Galaxy screen.

I managed to reproduce your issue with the Shipyards tab,
Thanks for the save!
I noticed that there are a few shipyards that are upgrading. When I get the time, I'll try to cancel those and see if the problem persists.

edit:
Yep, it's the upgrading shipyards that are causing the slowdown; more specifically, the label that shows it is upgrading. The easy fix is to remove the label, but I'll check for another way.

Can you verify please? If it only happens when there are shipyards that are upgrading.
