Supremacy new release

Re: Supremacy new release
In my opinion something is odd, It looks like the -30 modifier is used at least twice. A turn before the last subjugation the modifier was sustainable for all systems. The lowest morale level before the systems rebelled was 81 ( Enif and M'kemas). Tavela Minor went from morale 100 to the rebellion in one turn.....
Re: Supremacy new release
Could that be from the -5 for each rebellious system? 6 systems rebelling is -30.
I'm uploading new patches, can you check if the modifiers are correct please? Not only in the subjugated Romulan colonies but also in your own native colonies, and subjugated or member minors ?
We should probably start a new thread for this discussion about morale.

Re: Supremacy new release
I played those turns again with Experimental-7 patch
It looks that modifier -30 was calculated for all ex-Romulan systems and +50 for all systems, including Romulan ones. No one rebelled.Re: Supremacy new release
Yes, that's the current implementation. I've started a new thread so that we can discuss morale effects, here.
Re: Supremacy new release
Hi,
I suppose there is an uncertain situation of agents sent to a minor race, once that race is assimilated by the Borg. Simply I see my envoy listed, but nothing else happens. I assume that traveling agents should be redirected back to the capitol, but stationing ones should die - I do not expect the Borg to assimilate an agent, despite how interesting it sounds
And some turns after that I got a message that the open borders treaty with that assimilated race expired.

Hi geordie.
Good points! I'll fix those asap. Thanks!

Re: Supremacy new release
Uploaded a new EXPERIMENTAL_AI patch but those assimilation related issues have not been addressed yet. Will fix during the weekend.
A newAI patch should follow soon.

Re: Supremacy new release
I have met again an error not allowing me to progress:
Here is the last save:
I used a save one turn older or pressed 'turn' just after starting the game and no effect in both attempts. The same error is before and after Exp-8 patch. Here is the last save:
Re: Supremacy new release
Was an empire eliminated just before the issue?
Re: Supremacy new release
No, nothing new happened, maybe the Borg assimilated somebody, but I was not aware of that. I assaulted one system, but had too few troops to even try to fight.
Re: Supremacy new release
In the meantime I tried my old Borg game with the last NewAI patch and it looks that I still get the same error (an endless loop) I reported 8th of March. So it hasn't been resolved yet, correct?
Re: Supremacy new release
I think today is my bad luck day
I started a new Borg game, Experimental-8 patch this time and...
- in turn 8 I found other races' ships transferred to Drailon system: - but I could fight only local (Drai) ships: - in turn 18 Drai colony ship was produced - next turn I tried to assimilate Drailon and got again that endless loop error, but this time with error log:

It looks that I couldn't add 4th attachment in one post, so the error log is here:
Re: Supremacy new release
Correct.
I'll check if it's someone trying to send an envoy to the Romulans, which have all been enslaved by some warmongering player...No, nothing new happened, maybe the Borg assimilated somebody, but I was not aware of that. I assaulted one system, but had too few troops to even try to fight.
Re: Supremacy new release
All these issues are probably manifestations of the same problem, that issue where ships of a given civ appear in a fleet of another civ. That's most likely related to the AI merging its fleets, and I've made some changes to that code in this patch - which probably made it more frequent.geordie wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 4:48 pm I think today is my bad luck day

The Drai colony ship is actually a Dominion colony ship The Drai just commandeered it it seems
