Not sure how easy it would be to implement, but would there be any value in adding a hotkey in the starmap to toggle between views (Military vs Economic) ? Something like CTL+V (or ALT+V) ?

Re TWHs, I could (even if as a temporary fix) add some weapons to them so that issues like those reported by Kellir and geordie are mitigated for now. What do you guys think?

The Borg also needs this, sorry. The dilithium cost of their ships was increased, so they need more at the start.
The Assembler now costs 50 as a way to simulate a dilithium cost for the TWH. Also serves a soft cap on max TWHs. Should there be a hard cap (6) too?
Feedback on these values is highly appreciated, so that they can be tweaked if necessary!

I propose to leave it as it is, without a temporary fix. One probe would be enough to guard a TWH.
BTW - I think the Borg probe is too powerful, usually she is able to defeat at least 4 cruisers or an outpost II getting enough protection from her shields.

Lower it to 200/2000 and only 2 beams?

Should the Sphere be toned down a notch too? To half a Cube?

I think the Range of Borg ships might be a bit too high (but is useful for testing purposes) ?

New patch.

- disabled ability to offer Alliance and Defensive Alliance to civs that are at war with any of your allies, and War Pact if all remaining empires are your allies
- reduced modifiers for AI WarDecs, and added the civ's War Weariness as a(nother) modifier
- fixed crashes and UI issues related to envoys that retire or are recalled
- fixed bugs related to agreements that are no longer valid
- fixed crashes and issues related to the AI offering agreements

- reduced stats of Borg probe
- increased cost of Borg Cube
- removed cloak from Echo Papa

Still need to figure out why the AI doesn't start building more warships sooner (when not at war with another empire).

New patch.
- Borg AI should now try to keep a Sphere as a defense fleet in its colonies
- AI (minor and major) shouldn't attack or raid your colonies if a cease-fire is in effect
- envoys should develop a bit slower now, and have a bit less effect on relations
- AI WarDec parameters considerably reduced, including firepower
- AI shipbuilding should be a bit better (WiP)
- fixed a couple of crashes

All of these need to be tested! Please provide feedback.

Should i start a fresh game or would it still be worth continuing an existing saved game?

You can continue your existing savegames, there were no data changes that require a new game.
You can load savegames from previous turns to test some of these changes, like WarDecs and cease-fires.

- Borg AI should now try to keep a Sphere as a defense fleet in its colonies
Nope, not in this patch, but it's been fixed for the next one. Already fixed a bunch of issues with the Borg, and working on a few more.

Hi, I played a couple of turn with the last patch. Everything looks OK with one exception:

I have constructed Dominium cloaked colony ship. I cannot decloak it or move it to other sector - slightly similar to previous Echo Papa, but it wasn't a new colony.

Hey geordie. Do you have that savegame? That fleet doesn't seem to exist, as it has no name.

In fact I am able to move it by one sector per turn within colony ship range, even if the path is marked red

It doesn't even show in the Assets screen, in Task Forces. Something must have gone wrong when it spawned.
I tried to move it and it just disappeared the next turn.

Captured systems do not have a building upgrade.
I can delete them and build my own.
Bug went away after a restart.

Hi Kellir
I don't follow. What do you mean? Can you provide a detailed explanation, maybe with a pic and a savegame?

Population data for nebulas in the Star System screen are improper, because of specific Changeling case
