Re: Supremacy new release
I try to patch immediately once available, just for testing.
BTW it was quite a cash injection after scrapping 250 intel units

Finish your games with 20200331 or 17may first, and then get this one.
BTW, finish your game before "upgrading" to 20200521. I actually loaded it with that release, but there were a few changes in the bonuses that should make the game wonky...
Minors will now be able to upgrade their PFs, thanks erazortt!
Working on getting Raider minors to build a raiding fleet, and Warlike minors with StrikeCruisers to build an assault fleet.
Re: Supremacy new release
Currently, if a ship is beeing build and the minor is membered, the ship will not be owned by the empire after once it is built. :/
Re: Supremacy new release
Ah, that's why I cleared the queues I think.
Re: Supremacy new release
yeah.. probably
Re: Supremacy new release
So for ships it might be necessary to clear the queues, but perhaps it’s not necessary for buildings?
Re: Supremacy new release
Not sure if there won't be problems when spawning any of the types of structures, planetary (Buildings, PFs) or orbital (Shipyards, OBs).
Re: Supremacy new release
Ok than its indeed safer to just clear all queues. :/
Re: Supremacy new release
Yep. Done.
Also, I think I'll remove the destruction of all Intel PFs - it's really odd that all other PF types remain the native's, and intel switches to the empire's. Either that, or actually fix it
BTW, the new code is actually making a subjugated minor be able to upgrade their native PFs all the way up to the empire's TL, instead of its own TL...
Is the effect of gifts way too low now?

Re: Supremacy new release
Yeah, please!
WTF? Why? I am handling them exactly like members..?!BTW, the new code is actually making a subjugated minor be able to upgrade their native PFs all the way up to the empire's TL, instead of its own TL...
How are subjugated different from joined minors in this code?
Code: Select all
var colonyOwner = colony.Owner;
var originalOwner = colony.OriginalOwner;
var memberedColony = (originalOwner != colonyOwner) && (DiplomacyHelper.IsMember(originalOwner, colonyOwner) || DiplomacyHelper.IsSubjugated(originalOwner, colonyOwner));
Re: Supremacy new release
Done.
I haven't tested members yet, was going to do that next.
I'll send a savegame asap.

Re: Supremacy new release
Also, a subjugated colony from another empire will (only) allow me to upgrade their PFs (level 2) to my PFs (level 3) or keeping building their PFs (level 2)...
Re: Supremacy new release
For the next patch,
fixed Production Facility upgrades
fixed the station construction AI
improved colony management AI
improved system assault AI
improved system liberation AI
improved/working on AI DoWs
working on AI raider fleets
working on fixing minor race liberation
working on splitting civs for rebellions and such
Also,
removed Regard penalty of Raid order for other civs in contact
removed deuterium cost of Train Crew order, since the AI was not coping well with it (fleets getting "frozen" in space)

Sounds really great. =)Minors will now be able to upgrade their PFs, thanks erazortt!
Working on getting Raider minors to build a raiding fleet, and Warlike minors with StrikeCruisers to build an assault fleet.
It would even be cooler, when the aggressive Minors would declare war/raid on other Minors in their range.
Re: Supremacy new release
I'm finishing the raiding code right now.
Warlike minors already declare war (not the rest of the minors though, there's really no use). No bombardment yet though.
Raider minors are now raiding nearby colonies (without DoW), but I'll make them only raid empire colonies - it doesn't serve any purpose for them to raid other minor races. They don't really need the money
It's all still very much experimental, needs loads of testing; and tweaking I'm sure.
Will release a new patch soon.
