As I said before within the introduction thread ... I like to share some impressions of my 'Star Wars' -mod.

Races:
delete all Star Trek races (civs and minors)
add 5 civs races (Humans, Seperatist, Jedi, Sith and Hutts)
add 181 minor races (e.g.: Twi'lek, Bothans, Duros, Rodians, Trandoshans, Mon Calamari)
TechObjectDatabase / ships:
delete all minor races ships
add category 'fighter' and 'bomber' to the existing types of ships
plug in Star Wars ships on the basis of the existing civs ships
all civs go by the following types: colony ship, transport, construction ship, medical ship, science ship, scout, fighter, bomber, frigates, destroyer, cruiser, strike cruiser, command ship, tactical strike cruiser
decrease speed and range
TechObjectDatabase / stations:
add Deathstar (in construction), Deathstar (final version), Lucrehulk-class (droid command station)
TextDatabase:
delete existing ship descriptions
add placeholder descriptions for the new ships (just like you did with the over civilizations except for Federation ships)
change the spelling of weapons; e.g. Phaserbank, Disrupter & Polaron Beams > laser cannons, turbolaser cannons etc.
Agents:
exchange pictures and names for all civ' agents

For the next week I'll try to implement something like a 'hero'-system. What I'm talking about? Here is a littl' hint:
-- All these named ships can only build "one per empire" and operate roughly 20% better than the normal non-restricted class of ship.
- • Darth Vader's advanced prototype of the TIE Advanced x1
• Boba Fett's modified Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft - the "Slave I"
• Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin - Imperial-class Star Destroyer
• General Ackbar - MC80 Liberty type Star Cruiser - the "Home One"

Wait, did I talk too big? Yes, it seems like! I still try to unravel the mystery of the restriction "OnePerEmpire". It is not done with a simply copy & paste of the line <Restriction>OnePerEmpire</Restriction> from Buildings to Ships. After a little while of investigation within the TechObjectDatabase.xsd -- it seems that the restriction "OnePerEmpire" is only available as BuildRestriction and there is nothing similar designated for Ships. After this setback I'll think about a special shipyard with the restriction "OnePerEmpire" for the new 'Hero-Ships' that is an upgrade-option for the Shipyard I but isn't upgrate-able to Shipyard III -- a delicacy decision. But there isn't a connection between the Shipyards-rank and the Ships that are buildable with it -- only the <MaxBuildTechLevel>. Another setback...! Any ideas for a workaround? Perhaps I miss something -- it was a long business day and my brain is no longer receptive for today.

Sure, but it is an older version based on SupremacyTest_20150828. I start a overhaul to SupremacyTest_20151124. Beside: the terraforming isn't within that version - right? Would be great to see that feature back again. If you want to download the older version I need your e-mail (perhaps pm) and I'll reply a link. But to be honest; like Star Trek Supremacy it is not fully playable. I didn't balance the Ships etc. cause it's all work in progress. I try different concepts to nail the feeling of Star Wars (e.g. adding new classes like Starfighter). The tabletop-game Star Wars Armada inspired me.
