Problems with SupremacyTest_20170908

I am expecting some issues on windows 10. I do have all of the pre-requisites. I am not able to build an outpost when I have research science station. Unless I hit the F1 then F2 then F3 keys. Same goes for saving a game I have to hit multiple F keys before the save button show up after hitting ESC. Now for diplomatic request I have to hit the outbox again before the button light up to send the message. Same goes for when trying to move around the attribute points in a system I have to hit multiple F keys before I am able to click on the arrow to move them from say intelligence to science. This goes for all the races in the game.

Hi Orion, welcome to the forums!
Thanks for the report. Those are the same issues that pacho reported, and Borealis also mentioned a couple of them. It might be related to Win10 , but the curious thing is, in the laptop I used, these issues did not manifest... it was an old laptop though, could it be related to the 64 bit version of Win10? Which one is yours?

I think I'll start a new thread about these problems with Win10.

Yes i am using 64-bit come to think of it. When I was playing a round with it on my old laptop that is 32-bit. I did not have the same issues so it might be something to do with 64-bit on windows 10.

Hi there. I have downloaded the new version,this is the first time I'm trying the game, so dont have any previous data from old versions etc. It starts up fine,when I pick a race, it goes to load up the game, then gives me an error message saying something about an 'unhandled exception'. My laptop is running windows 7 64 bit.

Can you post here the log files that have relevant information please. They are to be found in the main folder of the game, and should be called Error.txt or ClientLog.txt or Log.txt.
Those should help identify the problem. Please make sure you have all the pre-reqs installed.

Thanks for the quick reply, but it was my own fault, I didnt notice the pre-reqs first. Ran through the list, and everything seems to be working fine now. Thanks again.
