Mac Installation Help!

Hey there guys.
I have been playing BOTF on my mac via play on mac.
I'm exited to play Supremacy. I have downloaded it via bitbucket.org and then tried to use play on mac to install and launch it but at the end of the installation I get an error message saying:

Error in POL_Wine
Wine seems to have crashed

If your program is running, just ignore this message.

I can't get the game to install and run. What am I doing wrong?

Did you try to search online for a solution?
TBH I have no idea how to solve your problem. Is it when you're unzipping the game that you get this error?

Yes i download the game and the zip file , but i get the error through the play on mac app... as the zip file opens via play on mac app....

I'm using the same process i used when i installed BOTF for my iMac using playonmac app but it doesn't seem to work fo Supremacy.

Any ideas?

Hi everyone, hoping someone might be able to help me.
I have a MacBook Air M1 running OS Ventura. Is there anyway I can get BOTF to run on this machine?
Or am I better off to invest in an older Surface Pro/similar just for the game? HELP PLEASE

can you please clarify Icemans question.
Do you have issues with game pack, you cant open Supremacy CE Preview 20230316.zip ?
Or you did extract that pack, and you have issue with running SupremacyClient.exe ?

Do note that none of us has mac or uses one(to my knowledge).
Do you get same results from both playonmac and wine?
Consider also that Supremacy is old(ish) software, playonmac is newer emulator compared to wine, but, supremacy is old.
I think wine should be better option for supremacy play, but again, not mac user.


Did you try to find any "new" emulator for mac? By new, i mean, in active development, like Phoenicis?
