Detailed description of your issue
Hey I can't get the new all in one installer to work and I was wondering if I could get some advice on uninstalling.
Every time I fire it up it tells me that the base game and the mods I previously had (Ultimate Mod, All the Ages, Dominion) have all been installed.
I cleared out C:/BOTF and the Microprose folder and I used the Windows 7 uninstaller program to remove the programs. But the all in one installer is still convinced they're there and now I've gotten rid of the functional version of the game I had and I can't reinstall.

the installer checks the registry to see if mods are installed
here is registry locations
open "regedit.exe" in C:\windows folder. (run as admin)
find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microprose (64 Bit systems)
find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microprose (32 Bit systems)
in the microprose folder look for mods that were not uninstalled properly
delete "Star Trek: AAM" folder for All Ages mod
delete "Star Trek: UDM" folder for Ultimate Dominion mod
delete "Star Trek: UM5" folder for Ultimate mod 5

Hi Everyone,
I have created a registry cleaner for BOTF
This will remove all BOTF and all mods registries entries,
So everything (vanilla and all mods) should be uninstalled before using this file.
extract file below and execute the unins000.exe
note; the extracted files will delete after use (but not folder).
