install error

i initially managed to install and play the game no problem, then the .exe files started going missing when i restarted my laptop

now when i'm trying to use the installer on all the mod .exe files i'm getting errors

An error occured when trying to rename a file in the destination directory
movefile failed code 5
access is denied

any ideas?

sounds like your anti virus software is quarantining file.

I suggest you submit the file to your anti virus developer to examine closer.

This has happened in the past and in every instance so far was found as a false positive.

also please let me know what anti virus software you are using.

I seem to have managed to fix this , I use AVG free antivirus, but I simply reinstalled to a different directory and it seems to be working... for now. I’ll keep an eye on it and report back. So good to be able to play this game again!
