Well, after a couple of days of heavy play, I must say this is the best yet. It's fair and balanced. Well done, Thunder!

glad to here you like what I have done,

right now I have been distracted from this project creating 1366 x 768 widescreen GUI.

you said you might be interested in helping here is what still needs to be done.

buildings

need building for minors 3 each, ideas - images - values
close to 10 new building per major, ideas - images - values

ships

new models for minors (that have ships) 40% complete. I know you don't do model how about textures?

after that it will mainly need balancing and testing.

I'm no modeler, but I can certainly skin anything. I do have 3D Studio Max, I just don't know how to do anything other than create/export texturemaps. (And of course, skin them) If your modelers have already created texturemaps for the ships, I'll just need those. (Preferably, in hi-resolution. The larger they are, the better the detail.) As far as ideas, I can do that. I'm an idea man. ;) Of course, the race GUI's I had initially designed for Supremacy could be modified, too. Just let me know! You have my e-mail addy!

Tc, if you didn't already, the feds could have a "Tachyon Emitter" building, giving scan range. You know, for implementing the tachyon detection grid.

Tachyon Emitter was a short range scan technic, so would not increase scan range. and with current code there is no way to increase short range scan strength.

Thunderchero, did you have the minors and buildings listed in a post somewhere? I'd like to chip in on this but don't know where to start without recovering ground.

nice to see some interest here. I have added a few minor building lately (type, name, bonus but no images).

so no current building list, but might have something in a couple weeks, remind me again then.

I am interested, but also there was somewhat of an epiphany the other day playing your UDM3.

You need multiple special facilities with various effects for minors and I was running into morale issues as well as growth/ defense issues.

Some folks like Bynar's could have extra facilities for computer security defense (global) in addition to their research boost. Maybe third facility for local research boost.
