general questions

Post by narutocro »

hy. I'm new to modding,so naturally i have some questions.First i like to thank you for the effort you put in the modding and coding of the game. And now the questions.
1. can two or more buildings share a tga file or does each building have to have its on tga file, and what is the max number of buildings in the game?
2.when adding new systems and planets is it as easy as just adding them with ue or is there some coding required
3. i read that max ship range is 10. Can it be expanded?
4.is there a max scan range
5 i like to have 25 teh lv , but does it mater how match points does it take to reach a higher lv, or can i use any number i choose ? ( lv 1 -900 or lv 1-9000)
6. do i first patch trek.exe and edit with ue or do i first edit and then patch the trek.exe
