How come UDM has most of the i_***_c.tga files except for the Galaxy-X? Was that intentionally left out?

if i_h5__c.tga is missing that explains a lot you have a corrupt download, UDM should crash in build screen.

you need to completely start over uninstall everything and redownload All in One installer.
JeanLucPicard1 wrote: Fri Mar 12, 2021 1:44 am I found most of the tga files to overwrite the old Vanilla ones. Certain ones are missing like the Galaxy-X. I don't know what other mod I can get them from. All the Ages can't even use MPR++
only placeholders (hobs) for models must be from an MPR++ install

the tga images do not have to be from MPR++ just need to have 1920 x 1080 installed

Yeah, there is no i_h5__C.tga. Only an i_h5_c.tga for the Galaxy-class. UDM doesn't crash in build screen though. I've actually downloaded a copy of All in One a couple of times. Do you have a good copy that contains the i_h5__c.tga? Also, here is how I install showing I select 1920_1080.

I know you're going to tell me it's not 1920_1080, but what can I do? I''ve downloaded the installer a couple of times and chose 1920_1080 each time.

Edit:
the Galaxy X is not part of UDM and never has been. I don't even know what you are looking for any more.

galaxy X is only in vanilla and aam and Galaxy mod i think

that image is the i_h5__c.tga

if it looks exactly like that, then the file is in the stbof.res. You are just not finding it for some reason.

I need a Galaxy-X i_***_c.tga for ECM. I can't find it in ECM, UDM or other mod. I don't want to use the Vanilla TGA in the build screen

I wish you simply kept the standalone ECML instead of this All in One installer

I looked for that file in several mods including ECM, AAM, UDM5 and UDM. It isn't there. I don't know why your having me go on a hunt for a file that isn't there. The only one I found close to it was i_hh2_c.tga for the Vanilla Galaxy-X image. I just want the ship to have the modern image but the only files for it say something like i_hh2120.tga.

i_hh2_c.tga I don't have the corresponding tga file so in game the ship looks stock

you have never shown me what image you wanted....

I don't have that image it was before the 1080 was created.

you can make your own image from that one and convert it with UE

just enlarge to 509 x 425 and save as png

then use UE (tools) to convert to 16 bit tga

What do I need to do that? An image editor like Gimp? I tried converting it from TGA to PNG online but the pic of the Galaxy-X is just changed to a blank silhouette of the ship image.

I also wanted to know if I can do this for images like the TGAs shown at end game. For example, can I find an image online or use a screenshot from Bridge Commander then covert it to 16-bit TGA to use in game?

faststone image resizer is free and converts and re-sizes most images
https://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDownload.htm

you can use any image you want

once you get it the proper size

UE is the only thing that will convert to the proper format

UE (tools) to convert to 16 bit tga

Okay thank you. Am I also able to edit the galaxy size for ECM in UE for any resolution without problems? I liked the size ECML used to have . The normal map included in All in One is simply too small even on large irregular galaxy.
