minor race attitude as member of enemy

Hello,
if a minor race is discovered during a war and the minor race is member of the enemy, the minor race attitude changes to the lowest level. Is it possible to keep the original attitude of the minor race?

42A680   mov  ebx, 190h ; -400 attitude at 0x29A81 (90 01) -> any lower value should work for you e.g. 00 00
I don't know how many bugs is too many but that point is reached somewhere before however many in BotF is.
