Ok, so TC and I played our game this evening - I won after TC conceded at approx turn 35.

He had first choice and picked Roms - I picked Cards to even up the intel.

I was bottom middle and spotted TC first turn above me and to the right. My systems were ok but both needed terraforming and neither had dilith so i was glad that TC decided not to pay me an early visit. I used the time to get some more dilith from my neighbours the yridians and then had a look around. Found the fergs above me and feds above and to the left - both were very generous and this helped build a decent fleet.

I then conquered Bolarus to try and get range on TC - he spotted this and brought his fleet there to try and bomb them out of existance.

Fortunately I got there in time and we had our battle. I think TC had 12 BC and some scouts and destroyers - I had 15 HC and 4 scouts. The battle went my way and TC generously conceded.

I want to thank TC for a good game, played in a good spirit and hope to play him again soon

Carcher and I had our game. Carcher chose kling and I chose rom.

We were very close and I met kling turn 8. Being so close I abandoned full out research, concentrating instead on intel. I conquer Ullia for the intel bonus and member Caladonia to get range to kling.

was his fleet uncloaked? 12 cloaked bc is force to deal with

I think he had a few more than he stated. just loaded turn before and he had 27 BC 5 scout in range. And I made error of getting in his ramming range. while most of my ships were green.

I had good starting systems but nothing around we both found ferengi I think about same time and they gave him all the money 10,000 me 50,000 him he said he also got 20,000 from feds I had no minors around except Ktarians if I had a few more turns I might have got my upgrade BC (had 100% energy 60% of weapons) and I went very quick in red for ship support.

oh well see what happens when you don't play in 3-4 months.

yeah things went pretty much as mickar said I will add that the bloody blackholes between us ,3 of them!!!,hid his fleet from me and i didn't get a bean from the AI ,but i'm not complaining ( honest i'm not!).
