Moskka,

I dont want to seem picky but I think that Scotty said "you cannot change the laws of physics" only once in the episode Naked Time!

Argh Dissy where are you!

Guys, I think enough time has passed, and in sean's absence Thunder, can you make the call to proceed? As you volunteered to look after the tourny. :)

We need to get things moving.

RSE_Chris and carcher,

If it has been 2 week since start of that round, then yes you two should just go ahead and finish tournament if you both agree not to wait any longer.

OK JBL

Call it senility brought about by old age, but my fading memory has let me down and you were right (in your second post anyway, where you said can't instead of cannot), so please accept my humble apologies

To prove it, I have just sat down and watched "The Naked Time" and while I was about it I watched "City on the Edge of Forever"

Realised what I've been missing for a long time and will now need to sit down and watch the entire series, which I know I'll enjoy and hopefully will stop me getting caught out again

Perhaps he should have said "ya canna change th elaws o' physics"......what do all you Scottish Star Trek fans think.......that is if there are any Scottish Star Trek fans out there?

And while yer at it, how good was James Doohan's attempt at a Scottish accent?

Only real Scots to answer these questions!

JBL
"you cannot change the laws of physics. Scotty to Kirk, countless times"... this phrase was taken from a book i have read: "Physic of Star Trek" Lawrence M. Krauss, i have little memory of classic series, in fact i don't know if it's true..

take this:  he died, jim - McCoy to Kirk, countless times
TRUE or FALSE :?: uh uh

JBL Said
False....lol ....you mean "he's dead Jim"...!!!!!
Which whilst not said countless times, it was said an awful lot

Anyone care to watch TOS and all films McCoy & Kirk were in to count them up?

BTW JBL, I would have thought that with your encyclopaedic knowledge of TOS you would have known the exact number! :?
