eWarzone from same Network

Post by mschnarr »

Does anyone know if it is possible to forward ports to more then one computer so that more then one person can play BOTF via warzone (presuming we are all coming from the same network. ie 192.168.1.3, 192.168.1.4 and 192.168.1.5).

Unfortuantely Direct IP doesn't work for us.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

As far as I know adnak1 got it working with two computers and DMZ option in the router for the Risk game. For botf I believe chances are bad, very bad with bypass.
Never have tried myself but didn't saw any person gettin' that to work with botf in warzone. :(

If just playing in private LAN Network, DirectIP should work for you if configuring your firewalls right!
Playing through warzone without of bypass is DirectIP as well (but I'm not sure if it only works with WAN Wide Area Network, say Internet IP). Important is that the host is in your private network and if you're playing with others out of the network (in warzone) you need to forward your router to the computer which is host. But as I've said I didn't saw anyone gettin' it work with more than one computer in private network and computers out of the network. But didn't saw many trying that either. ;)

good luck
