How does the UDML map run with more than 2 or 3 players does it have lots of lag and crashes? I would be down for an epic 3 or 4 person game on that huge map!

After turn 100 turn lag was between 2 to 4 min for USA Romania game... Crash every 10 to 40 turns most desync some in battle. This was played non mpr win 7 32 bit comp me vs XP system gentle. Shorter distances will reduce lag. Honestly 3 or 4 game persons game start to finish not realistic...imho

with the current info I have collected it would be interesting to see a 5 player game. with no AI running the search/explore subroutines that cause turn lag should be nothing. but combat calculation lag would still be present.

now if we only had a stable MP interface.....

The most crucial intervention that would propel this game into stratosphere is a solid networking engine ...
