Hey all.

Me and a friend are trying out mp through gameranger the other day, he couldnt host but i could we got up to about turn 77 or there abouts. Everything ok but when we decided to meet up ship to ship we kept getting sync issues during the event pop up saying we have discovered the federation blah blah. Managed to somehow get past that but it was dissapointing that it came up and happened 2-3 times exactly the same event.

Using mpr++ only installed using multi installer. So identical versions.

Autosave turned off both sides.

did you turn off game auto save or MPR++ auto save?

MPR++ auto save must be turned off. to do this;

in the GameSettings.ini in install path of version you are playing. (each install of mpr++ has seperate file)

add # as shown below

#TinyConfig Start

[EXT]
#EXT1=AUTOSAVE
#EXT1=ALL
[AutoSave]
#AUTOSAVE=NEWGAME|TURNSTART|TURNEND|CLOSE|HISTORY
#AUTOSAVE_SLOTS=5
#AUTOSAVE_SCHEDULE=300

Also players can cause sync error.

once a player hits the turn button, he should do nothing in game. just by viewing a system after pressing turn could cause a sync error.

I turned off autosave through ingame method, i just edited the ini as you indicated so that should be off now too. :) I will tell me friend or share my file with him when i see him next.

Also will pass info about not doing anything after a player hits a turn button.

Cheers.
