Gameranger has gotten an update to play DirectX games without setting up any ports
just download Gameranger
http://www.gameranger.com
setup an account
with new proxy opening Dxwnd will conflict with proxy
allow access for gameranger and trek.exe on your firewall (the trek.exe for each mod will have to be allowed)
and play
If you want to play any mod you need to change the path in room/options
