Resumable Multiplayer Saves?

Is it possible to resume multiplayer games save to play later on as multiplayer with the same person over the IPX? If so could you please post how its done. Thanks in advance

It's working well with TCP/IP, dunno why there shoud be any problems with IPX (or why to use IPX anyway). Just save and load to continue. If autosave is activated, current and last turn will be saved automaticly and you can load or continue them normally.
