just an idea Mod tournament

Hi Everyone,

I had a thought today (I know, OH NO...)

having a tournament with UDMIII, BOP, UCW and UM4

Each mod would have it's own bracket.

you could enter into each mod bracket. so one player could have 1 first round match for each mod that he enters. So you could have a total of 4 games in first round. You could enter just once or for all 4 mods.

The winner of each mod bracket would go into semi finals and then finals with vanilla 1.0.3 as mod

And keep every thing simple, t5 small irregular impossible many minors no random or borg, thoughout tournament on all mods.

nice idea, but maybe having 4 brackets would cause logistical problems

i like the idea of having a mod tournament thoe..

perhaps the top player in bracket picks the mod, then the bottom player picks the settings + race pairing i.e. kling v rom

then the top player in bracket picks a race out of the two?

could work, and would allow multiple mods to be used in the same tournament!

only probs i see is some ppl being rusty on some mods (i myself dont play UCW or BOP).. but i guess i cud be pursuaded!

Dissy, I will admit your Idea has merit, but we will see what other people have to say.

the idea I had if a newbe to MP want to have a better chance he would sign up for all 4 mod brackets but someone like you may only play UDM and BOP so he would not have to play you in UM4 or UCW. And this would increase his odds to get to finals or atleast finals of mod bracket.

also if a player wins 2 mod brackets he would have to play both from other 2 brackets or would go straight to finals if one player wins 3 mod brackets and would have no finals if by a long shot he won all four mod brackets.
