This seems to be wrong:

Trade Routes for Cardassians/Romulans (150/170 swapped)

Intel:

-Consider that 5% - 10% is the max for any category. ?!?
-Ferengi have stronger economic security and Klingons have strong military security. ?!?

How about BotF versions 1.3 -> 1.6 ?!?
I don't know how many bugs is too many but that point is reached somewhere before however many in BotF is.

i think he was referring to updates he's made to his strategy guide.

An interesting read. I never knew that the different phrases you can choose when sending treaties could actually make a difference.

I hold no claim to this guide, other than being the one who found it.

I was trawling through abandoned forums looking for Dissy's RSE guide when I cam across it.

It may not be accurate, but it has alot of information.

Read it and see what you think.

In the grand scheme of things, this is why we post, for the greater good of the community.

"2 or more Heavy Cruisers have a high offensive capability, but can not substitute for a Command Cruiser.

Colony Ships and Troop Transports should be escorted to their destination system when in war.
1 Command Cruiser plus any ship enhances present situation. "

I never found CC ANY good.... good on the paper but in game - no use... will take HC for CC anytime...

me and chris recently had a long game, i ended up with tons of defiants and he had loads of vet hc's, in the end he won because he built 9-10 galors to go alongside his HCs, without those galors he wud have never been able to efficiently target my evading fast attack vessels. Of course we will not know for sure having not fought the battle with HCs instead of those few Galors, but they do help...

Command and control starships DO increase targetting , but this only really becomes an issue when fighting agaisnt Raider IIs or Defiants...

i wonder if that was the function of spreading out the assault over ships with lesser and better shields/hulls: you build a ton heavy shielded beasts that will soak up enemie's targeting and let others (Hc) live - unless you individually target them, allowing HC to survive... i don't know... vet level helps too...

Yes as dissy said, the command ships greatly improved targeting against fast ships and if I didnt have them I would have surely lost.

The only problem is that command ships are so slow with awful range... so you really have to becareful that you don't get your range cut off if your invading enemy territory. Best way is to use them to defend.

It does work :)
