3D space combat mode (attacking moves)

Hi people,

I play a lot of multiplayer games with my brother for Mod UDM III. I would like to know what targets you attack your ships on which to her is the first place? .
So an example: When it comes to the final battle when the enemy destroyer vessels + command cruiser + attack cruiser . What would you attack the first place?
If you try to annihilate all three targets on the command ship? Or just to destroy the destroyers then the cruisers attack the end command ships a good question ..... I know would really be interested to know about this subject, no matter what I try most of the fighting against losing my brother.
And how should we attack commands are various for the ships? Attempts to try to distance shots or only melee?
Would appreciate a response from you.
