Battling cloaked Klingon Ships @ tech 8...

Hi. I'm back from an 8 year hiatus (wow, it's been that long) and decided to fire up the latest and greatest and run a large UDM at mid tech. Been doing well and trying to keep my fleets built up as I progress - even got a nice bit of intel and economics going and a nice sized empire. I'm playing Fed.

One problem - the Klingons decided to play hardball (no surprise) only now they are spamming BoPs (30+) and Battle cruiser 2s and keeping them cloaked. This is tearing my fleets to shreds. I'm actually slightly more advanced but I have no idea how to counter this. Any ideas?

My fleets are made up of Destroyer 3s, Medium Cruisers, and Heavy Explorers. I JUST got Heavy Cruisers and Light Escorts.

I know the Heavy Escort and Dreadnought are the ships to get, but I'm not there yet.

Your Destroyer 3s should have a higher hull rating that the BoPs. Group Ram the BoPs with your destroyers and then finish off the BC2s with strafe/assault. If you're heavily outnumberd then build more, regroup, and use the above tactic.

Yea I remember the Jem Hadar ramming the Odyssey and the Klingon ships.

I do too, but I couldn't find any clips of them ramming Klingons in 5 minutes of searching. Only the Odyssey.
