Heh, an old style borg will be interesting in SP, but in MP will ruin the game.

Meh, that's personal opinion. If you don't like Borg, there's always the option to turn off random events ;)

I do admit to missing The Borg from Vanilla...but it is less terrifying, if you are going to play with random events on. I was under the impression that most people playing MP turned them off...?

I didn't mine the Borg 'cleansing planets so much (except for certain minor races) as I did them converting every planet in the system to barren; that was the unacceptable part of the deal.
