My recent Card cruiser has the same sort of deflector. But if you have photoshop, you can easily edit the Galor texture to change the deflector array to red/black. After which just re-insert the edited Gif back into botf.res via UE, and simply set to "use own palette". Trim the list, save, job done.

wow, looks really amazing, the texture great and i think it´s a real good design to continue the k´tinga linage.
So how many polys did it took, and how many textures ???

I am LOVING your models! I hope you dont mind if I use some in GALM when you release them ;) I could always use early tech non-Fed ships! :)

these ships look real great, well done! :D
the neck of your improved K't'inga I'd however lengthen a bit beyond it's back, so it rather looks like being mounted beneath than to have a buckling
think that would make it look a bit more natural and less fragile :roll:

Thanks for the comments! I don't know about changing the Klingon model now, it was a beast to work on. It required 168 groups to get it to separate in object mode. The raw model only had about 900 faces and polys, but Creator bumps that right up with triangulation, and first separate attempt resulted in nearly 5,000 vertices. I could cut that down by using Combine faces before separation, but it didn't work because I lost my groupings, so no separate. A trial run of separating by Face put it up to nearly 6,000 vert.

So I had to select each and every group in turn and Combine Faces individually by group, so no group divisions were lost, and that worked - it didn't affect the texture mapping and it put the poly count under 1,000 post-separation. It uses 3 textures as well by the way.

But after such a lot of effort getting it to work, and the texturing, you can see that I'm locking this one down as a final design. But I am planning to slightly revise the Cardassian design before UM5 goes live. And sure Tethys, they will be available for anyone to use in their mods.

Hi people,

I have since even a check to you. There are already 2 models for the Xindi race, once Aquarianer and Insektoiden Ship. It would be best if our create already ships out 3D modeling one Xindi ship Pack. With all 5 races models of the Xindi weapon and the planet killer as a bonus ship :) .That would be really great !

Has anyone done any early Ferengi ships? I'm currently using the Calmarian Cloud as a placeholder for ships from 2100-2300. Hey bambi, can you or someone else make the flying turd ship? I've seen the planet killer in these mods and I think you could reskin that thing to the turd ship.

I know, I know, what the hell was that turd ship called in the movie?

Here's the cool part, lets make it with the same power as a nebula cloud that takes your shield pts away. Best representation of its power for the game.
