very good, just the nacelle front caps need some improvement. They look quite strange right now

for comparison, here's an image I've found that shows a nacelle from side:

I agree Flocke,

I did some adjusting and I think it looks much better. I could recess brown area but would require about 50-100 more polygons. And model is running high already (1588 poly uncombined)

I may have to reconfigure the shuttle bay too it is not wanting to separate

it´s really good quality !!!! 8O i like it, each new release it better than the previous releases, althoug i still like the CS-4 textures, the letters in the hull, everything.

Well I have attempted converting about 50 times now 8O and got a good one now but still 348kb hob file (mid-high poly model) I may try a few more time to see if I can get it a little lower (250-300kb) but here iit is in game.

A truly gorgeous model by our Dr. :D

It looks great. I've seen a lot of really good models of you and other ppl in the years but this one... man it's outstanding!

I could write more an more positive adjectives but they wouldn't fit.

p.s.: Just outta curiosity: may I ask you how much hours you've spent to get this model in it's final fine stage and shape?

This model was a little different for me. It was my first attempt at using a background when it was shaped. So it gave it a more precise shape to the model. Plus I cheated a little the textures were in part from "Paramount" multi-view I found (top, bottom, side, front and back). But here is a break down on time spent on this model

3 hours scaling backgrounds and setup
6 hours general shaping
10 hours adding all the little details (recessed windows, shuttle bay ect)
4 hours getting round upper hull smoother (I learned a few things here)
10 hours mapping and editing textures (by Paramount)
3- 5 hours for minor adjustments
so far 4 hours spent on conversion to hob

i think all the words were said to qualify this top of the art model, i think that even match with the Armada games ships and much more, this is really a breakthrough in ships improvement. And it`s really exciting because, with each new Thunderchero´s release, i think i have a lot more to learn, so to achive what we have in this post.

Live long and prosper

EDIT: now i like more the Intrepid

Hi everyone,

I know some of you would like to see this one ingame so I created a temporary link. This file has the delta flyer, SC-4, SC-4 armor and intreped models. I will do official release when the armored interped is ready.

http://www.4shared.com/file/Q6-PTqZf/Vo ... _pack.html

Note only slight texture editing was done from image above file size could not be reduced any more with good results.

Opps I forgot to add Hirogen Hunter and am thinking about Krenim time ship and kazon raider

Krenim warship would be better since the timeship is actually a timeship but hey its your choice ;)

Kazon is a must have tho ;)
