Robert_defore great to here your enjoying your self -- i really love goming to this site to find another treat waiting for me to download.

as an aside could you upload a version of ptolmey with just one cargo pod as i was hoping to us one pod for type one colony and two pod for typ two

and the one pod is flying backwards -- although appropriate as it usually is in reatret lol

Yes I lost the 3ds file when my HD crashed, but I need to remake it anyway with the new bridge and new Nacelles I made after my new HD was installed. It will take a little bit for that. However, I have a copy of the Connie and the Fed with a single palette used on all the textures.

edit: Peter1981 do you want the deflecter to hang from the saucer or the version with the deflector located on the front of the first module?

Thanks for all the praise , I know I am very novice at this, and at times I get in too much of a hurry. But I am always willing to go back and fix the problems. Anyone who wants the 3ds model to look at or edit just let me know I will post them in my 4shared for you to pick up. I figure I owe you guys since yall have kept one of my favorite games going for over a decade!

edit: I am trying to use a common palette for all the TOS ships I do. I am going to redo the Akula, as I have some major improvements since I did that one, and I will try to use a common palette with this model and the Akula. Did all the textures from the Fed use the same palette, I cant remeber if I fixed the palette on it or not.

edit2: Ok the fed model adds 3 palettes. I will see if I can make them use a common palette. I thought I had done this but forgot since I did the work over several days. Keep an eye out and I will post if I succeed.

I'm facing difficult choices with all the new ships, with yours and Anjel's I have to sacrifice some of the other ships when adding them due to pallet restrictions lol.

I love your Federation Class....it is fun to see it in battle.

If you use the new models which I released today , they use the a single palette as will the new model of the Ptolmy and Akula which I am about to release. Just check this thread for the new models. The thread at the beginning of this page. Once I redo the Ptolmy and Akula, I will place them all in a single ship pack for download. I will place the link in the TOS Ship Pack thread.

Yes, for the detail, I love the new JJ Ships, in fact it will add a whole new set of cannon ships for the TOS era. The hulls are more detailed than the origional ships, but I still think some of the TOS ships are just absolutely beautiful. Its just a choice, do you want the detailed new ships or do you insist on origional cannon. Personally I love the Kelvin model, but the JJ Ent is just too much off the origional design for me.

Anjel's model are still wonderfully detailed much better quality than anything I can produce.

Thanks that was a good side view for the upgrade I am planning. I will however finish the TMP Constitution first, although , I really believe the one we have is very good and we dont really need a new one. It will be the basis of the hull form used on the refit Enterprise.

Here are some pics of the new engineering hull for the TOS Feds class. You guess look it over and see if you think it needs to be rounder or do you believe this is good enough. I was able to cut 100 verts with the new shape, and dont ask how!

Hi RD picture look fine to me, I think a dreadnaugt should look a little more angular -- make it more threatening...
