It looks like the ladder has it, the votes have stopped coming in (a worse turnout than at a General Election

).

Edit - wait until end of current tourney to be sure?

To be honest, with only 10 votes total, it's probably not worth running IMO.

But, I agree, we should wait until current tournament ends and then look at it.

Ladder system please.

Initial starting positions determined by the current tournament.

The number of active players can be seen from the current tournament.

Off the top of my head:

RF,
JBL,
Chris,
Dissy,
Mickar,
Myself,
Trevtones,
Carcher,
Chaos,
Pigman,
Jigglypuff,
Pugwash.

Surely that's enough to get going with.

Potentially; Mentat, Kim and Thrawncrusher.

That's a possible 15. More than enough for a leave. Plus several of us play frequently enough to make it interesting.

I voted ladder although I may have to disappear again as I'm going back to work August 10. I will try to play while I'm out there but I will be working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and living in hotels with crappy internet connections.

It sucks but it is necessary... :-(

Won't that make it difficult to compete in the team tourney and, if you get through, the finals of the current 1v1 vanilla tourney?

Yes it will make it very difficult, which is why I'm not happy with how long each round lasts. We all know it doesn't take very long to complete a 1vs1 game so why do we have like 3 weeks per round?

I played 2 games in 2 days and I'm waiting for fatigues to play out my last one.

As for the team tourney, well if it doesnt start up soon I will probably have to withdraw, I really want to play though so it kind of sucks.

Yea I agree, other than differing time zones there really isn't that much excuse for not getting online for 4-6 hours in a 2 week time period. Admittedly some games might take longer but ... :/
